Week's done

Saturday October 9th, around lunchtime

It's been a decent week, between having Monday and Tuesday off and not doing so much on the other three days. Last night was particularly awesome, when I was handed a giant bag of food by someone saying 'Your parents went through a lot of trouble to get this to you.' Well looks like I won't be going hungry anytime soon. Thank you :)

Recent work department

The video conference room in McGregory

I made some changes to www.roaix.info a couple of days ago. I removed the description and keywords META tags. While these tags still had a little bit of use back in 2002, nowadays none of the major search engines use them. I also added some hidden links to the menu page. All of this should improve the site's ranking a little bit. In the meantime, www.faldara.com seems to be doing fairly well in google. Every so often I manage to compose a search string that'll actually pop up this website...

In the meantime, AJ's moved the entire site back to his server in The Netherlands. The trouble at WorldWide DNS seems to over too, so all is good now (as opposed to last night, which was a little frustrating...).

Willow Path
Little Hall and the Student Union

Obessive picture taking department

  • Top - This is the video conference facility on the second floor of McGregory. It's where my German class with Professor Haufmann takes place.
  • Middle - Kaleena walking down Willow Path.
  • Bottom - Little Hall and the Student Union hidden between the trees.

Weekend department

As always I have plenty of stuff to do. On top of that it's homecoming weekend, so hopefully I'll be able to see a few people that graduated last May. I also want to finish my resume, as well as the 'about me' page on this site. Let's see how far we get...

Wow, lot of green on those pics. Did you just take them? Not as green here this time of year :(

The letter we got invited us to "bag our love" and we'd sure love to see the result of that action!

  28. Pieter:

inspired by Hooimama — #27 getting 'inspired' requires a fairly new browser. A fairly new browser requires a fairly new version of windows, which in turn requires a fairly new computer...

Yeah that is a little ironic :)
