Clean room this weekend?

Thursday November 18th, late in the afternoon

The room.

My room's usually pretty messy, and my standard excuse is that it gets messier as I get busier. So on that note: see how busy I am :)? It's actually quite accurate, because I have a couple of things due tomorrow and an economics exam on Tuesday.

Haven't been up to all that much since Sunday. My schedule has been a little... erm... off without Kaleena (she stayed in on Monday and Tuesday). My worst moment (barring any disasters today or tomorrow) was definitely on Tuesday, when I forgot about my Economics class. Once I figured that out (I was definitely having a slow moment), I had only missed about 15 minutes of class, fortunately. This brings my total of missed class time to about 40 minutes this semester -- not bad for my standards 8)

In a more recent goof-up, I forgot to bring my assignment up the hill (this morning actually). Fortunately Kaleena was able to e-mail it to me. So yeah... I think I don't have them all in a little line, as we say in Dutch.

So Kaleena's been a little under the weather lately, along with about half of campus and a good chunk of Upstate New York. So Kaleena, get well soon when you read this ok? She's currently taking over a lab session which I can't tutor because I have a bowling class these days...

Anyway, beyond that it's been a pretty standard week. Bridget got us chocolate on Monday (thank you!); still figuring out what for. So we come along to visit your family, have a great time and plenty of food (and take left overs with us), and as a result we get chocolate? Very sweet deal 8)

In related news, Professor Nevison and Barbara Cloud (The Nevicloud for short) have invited us for dinner this Thanksgiving break (which is next week, by the way). Should be fun.

On that note (see how I connect all these paragraphs... ;)), BREAK is next week! Aside from being pretty awesome on its own, that means that the weekend after (two weeks from now) Kaleena and I will be in Washington DC. Pretty sweet. Of course after that it's crunch (final exam) time, which is slightly less hot... Oh well, Cheers for now I guess 8)

    Here the weekend has finally started. It is Friday afternoon. KJ now is at the supermarket for our foodsupply hihi. I am not doing anything mentionable. In a few moments I will continue studying Korean. Getting the hang of studying... not getting the hang of Korean quite yet. Looking forward to visiting South-Korea this spring. Hope we will be able to go because it will be quite expensive even though we probably do not have to pay for acommodation.

    This weekend we were planning to visit AJ on Saturday and go home on Sunday, but I forgot about KJ's grandfather who is celebrating his birthday this Saturday. Thamar is also celebrating her birthday on Saturday...sigh, when does it stop... Saturday morning I have to go to Korean class. Sunday we will visit AJ in Amsterdam and we will probably be going there for the weekend sometime soon.

    Yesterday we went to see Bridget Jones, The edge of reason, with Patrick and Heesoo. Quite funny, and recognisable. The way she went down the mountain on her ski's and the way she tried to speak German. Hysterical. Other than that it is not the kind of movie that makes a deep impression or stays with you for a long time.

    Anyway... time to study.
