Monday December 27th, late in the afternoon

Attack of the Nerds.

First post from Amsterdam, as evidenced by this shot of me and AJ (taken with my brother's Olympus). I'm packaging an application and my brother's installing stuff. This is what we do when we're on break. Scary isn't it. I took some pictures with my camera, but yah I don't have the cord with me.

No news other than that. My Second Christmas Day at home was somewhat similar to the First, except dinner was at my parents and I peeled potatos instead of baking a tart 8) Between meals I've gotten some work done on my Winter project, about which I will have to write a proposal soon... Someone remind me before the 15th please?

Well I'm afraid that's all I have to report from Amsterdam. I'll have more tomorrow as AJ and I explore the city. Or sit behind the computers all day. Cheers.

Try to buy some clothes, that is: if you're able to use your eyes properly after a long day .... eh ... working, eating decent meals and stuff like that!
Dad and me will see the bill afterwards! (and kindly think about paying it)

Hey everyone! I'm in Gyongju (or Kyongju, depending on how you translate it) and having a great time! We just came back from a Buddist temple and a great dinner. It's a 4/5 hour drive from Seoul. I'm here with my oldest cousin (who's a couple years younger than my dad...He's the son of my second oldest aunt) , his ADORABLE daughter, and the third daughter of my fourth aunt. I took like 30 pictures today of this totally cool temple that we went to. Luckily there's an internet place in the lobby of the resort we're staying at. It's pretty awesome. Tomorrow we're going to look around more, since Gyongju was the capital of the Silla kingdom and has tons of stuff that will be useful for my project. The day after we're leaving early in the morning to go to Busan to see the UN memorial cemetary, some sort of memorial to the resistance against the Japanese, and an old fish market that has a bunch of historical significance (I'll write about it later).
This internet thing is pretty awesome...it's 100 won for 20 minutes. That's about 30 cents per hour. Usually it's much more expensive. Anyway, gtg do some research on what I want to see around here! Bai bai!
